ABOUT ME
Putting My Experience
to Work
MY CAREER
My career is in public service, in the Benefits and Housing Needs Service. I’ve worked in Local Government, in London, for over 25 years.
I have extensive knowledge & experience of benefits & welfare rights, and homelessness prevention and housing advice.
I have also worked as a caseworker, responsible for drafting replies to enquiries from MPs, Councillors and residents.
My career has provided me with an understanding of the diversity of residents that need assistance & how the development of policies impacts lives on a daily basis.
WHY NOW
I am choosing to stand as a candidate now because I feel it’s a great time to put my experience to good use for my local community.
I will bring enthusiasm and energy, commitment and a voice for families like ours. I want to make a difference and be a strong local voice for the people of Bexleyheath & Crayford .
I believe that my life experience and my career have given me the skills to represent you.
I have first-hand knowledge of issues affecting people such as increasing homelessness, lack of affordable local housing, a lack of support for people with mental health issues or the elderly, and a National Health Service that desperately needs more funding.
I look forward to learning more about the issues affecting you, campaigning on your behalf & representing you in Parliament.
